Flew
a few times today with a 7x1000SCR pack. AUW is a little over
25oz but the BLITZ seemed fine with the weight. And the 16/15/3
pull this airframe GREAT!!!!!!! Got a 6x5 and 6x5.5 coming
in the next few days. It should be ridiculous with those in
the nose! So far its a great design and Im having lots of
fun with it. The 16/15/3 is incredible in the nose.

"Wow,
Dean ...I built the second Blitz I got from you a year ago
when you had that <SALE>...and I had a most enjoyable
maiden flight last night followed by two additional flights."
"Bottom line ...You got a real winner here ...! Thanks
for all your design work!" "This was an enjoyable
build and the results were very pleasing"
"It
is a joy to fly, ROG's fine with a 9/6 APCe prop ....you also
can handlaunch it UNDERHAND and it's up up and away..! I'm
using 3S 1500 lipos mostly with an occasional 3S 2200 pack
..."
"We
strapped a GPS unit to the top deck the other day and recorded
a 98 Kilometer speed while in a dive ....nearly 60 mph ...so
that's truckin..!"

Dean, You've got a winner here. With a 6v speed 400, 2.3:1
gearing, 8x6 prop, and just a six cell KR-600AE pack it climbed
straight out into the wind. It climbs great, and although
I did an inside loop and a roll, I won't really know how it
flys until I try it under better conditions. I tested the
power off glide and with the wind it was hard to tell how
flat it glides, though it remained stable and responsive.
Powered back up and basically went around a pattern and came
in to a nice smooth
landing.
FYI,
the way mine is set up with six KR-600AE cells, it weighs
about 14 ounces. I think it is good for an intermediate trainer
because the wing loading is quite low. I'll let my son fly
it, and then progress to an 8 cell pack and may start cutting
down the wing span.

Dean
We just got back home today after a 20 hour drive straight
thru from NC. I wanted to let you know that those little 15
dollar planes were worth every penny. Lets see 15 dollar plane
and 200 dollars worth of fun. With this being my first time
slope flying and my friends first adventure with rc airplanes
(he has been a full scale pilot for many years) I did not
want to spend big dollars on something that might not be our
cup of tea. Several minutes into my first flight I was hooked,
my buddy took a little longer and had to make several walks
of shame to the dune floor (me to). By the end of the first
day I was hooked. Between the hang gliders and the funny pink
planes (heard from an on looker) we were quite an attraction.
With several visitors to the dune taking photos I'm sure we
will end up in someone's photo album. In closing I will say
for anyone wanting to try slope soaring on a low budget the
Floyds get my vote. Thanks
