Carbon Tow is very useful material that can be used to increase strength to many parts of an airframe. The Tow is soft and flexible, like yarn, until you glue it to a surface with CA or Epoxy. The Carbon Tow, also called Ribbon, is naturally flat, and made up of thousands of individual fibers just like Dental floss. The number that describes the Tow, such as 12K, 6K, or 3K describes how many individual fibers are found in that piece of Carbon Tow.
