STEELHEAD SLOWSTICK CORES (sold by 11.5 inch by 24 inch panels) $10.00 each

We can ship up to 4 panels in one box to USA Addresses for $7.00. It takes two panels to make one 48 inch wing.

The cores are CNC cut from Blue or Pink foam by us and are of the highest quality, cut in a single pass for a perfect Leading Edge, and are shipped in original core beds. They are slotted for a spruce 1/4" by 3/8" spar.

The wing design and airfoil have been tested and flown successfully by many experienced and beginner pilots for everything from sport aileron models built with no dihedral to a 3 panel Aerial Photography (AP) plane. And many modifications in between. You can use the original Pylons from your SLOWSTICK, or make modifications to suit your flying or other purposes or use the wings to design your own airframe.

These wings make a great addition to your aerial photography plane and have proven themselves time and again with incredible payloads of up to 36 ounces!

We set out to design a better wing for the SLOWSTICK airframe that would allow for better windy day penetration and better load carrying capabilities and have succeeded. Builder/flyers have reported that they can fly in much more wind. Aerial Photo pilots also report being able to fly with up to 60 ounce RTF with little trouble compared to the "STOCK" wing and with a more secure feeling that their wing will not fold in flight.

Adding ailerons to the wing and or flaps have also allowed for more aerobatic capabilites and are available for review on a few videos hosted on RCGROUPS.
